My Life Experience & Career

Regulated For Life (R4L) was founded by Leon Blackman, a dedicated front-line emergency services worker with over 23 years of invaluable experience. My journey into creating R4L was inspired by my personal experience undergoing Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certification while fostering vulnerable children in our society.

My disappointment with the quality of the PFA certification I received, including subpar delivery, assessment methods, and inadequate equipment, sparked a passion to revolutionize first aid training. Realizing the critical need for a specialized, professional, and competent provider - one that places children's well-being at the forefront of everything they do - I embarked on a mission to redefine the standards in the field.

I firmly believe that first aid certification should never be a mere tick-box exercise, especially in the realm of Paediatric First Aid. Drawing from my extensive background in applying first aid and my qualifications as a regulated course trainer, Regulated For Life was established with a mission to set a new standard in training—one that saves lives and ensures quality care.

For the past three years, Regulated For Life has been at the forefront of training individuals to become competent, confident, and compassionate first aid responders. With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to prioritizing the safety and welfare of our most vulnerable, Regulated For Life continues to make a profound impact in communities nationwide.
